Main Street, 5th Floor Memphis, TN 38103 The deadline for submitting questions is Thursday, June 1, 2023 by 12:00 p.m. (CST). Shelby County wishes to engage the Vendor(s) selected through a competitive process that will work well with the County's personnel in the performance of the Goods/Services, in a cost-effective manner, and applying the SCG LOSB Ordinances. The intent of this request is for Shelby County Government to construct a pedestrian/walking trail along existing roads and greenway from North Hollywood Street to Douglas Park. Please refer to the Award section, which adds details on full/partial proposals/awards. The Provider must be prepared to begin within 10 days upon receipt of the written Notice to Proceed. SCOPE OF WORK A. Labor and/or material required to complete work called for on the drawings and not mentioned in the specifications or vice-versa are to be performed and/or furnished in as faithful and thorough a manner as if fully noted by both. B. If work is required in a manner to make it impossible to produce first class work, or should discrepancy appear among Contract Documents, request interpretation before proceeding with work. No excuse will thereafter be entertained for failure to carry out work in satisfactory manner if such a request is not made. Should conflict occur in or between drawings and specifications, the more expensive way of doing work is deemed to have been estimated on unless a written decision before submission of the proposal as to which method or materials will be required is requested and obtained. C. Provide all labor and material and perform all work as described in the accompanying sections of this specification and/or as shown on the drawings, both as enumerated generally in the Index to Specifications and the Index to Drawings. D. The Contract will be based upon the completion of the work according to the drawings and specifications. It is the purpose of the plans and specifications to provide, to the Owner, completed site improvements. Furnish and install all items, whether specifically shown or specified, that are necessary or required to furnish complete modifications.
