Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Peoria, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The proposed improvement consists of removal of existing sidewalk, crosswalk, curb and gutter, sidewalk ramps, and other appurtenances at the corners of each intersection and replacement with new curb ramps and aesthetic treatments. These will include new sidewalk, concrete curb and gutter, concrete curb, brick pavers, detectable warnings, and other items described in the plans and the special provisions. All provisions regarding EEO, prevailing wage, certified payroll, and DBE and WBE requirements shall be strictly enforced. All work shall be in compliance with specifications and all state and federal laws and regulations All proposals must be accompanied by cash, certified check, cashier's check, or a bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond for the full amount of the contract, with sureties, to be approved by the City Engineer. Compliance with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act is required under this contract. The City of Peoria reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals
