The scope of work includes but is not limited to site work, foundation, utility services, design, permitting and construction of a pre-engineering metal building. The general contractor shall be responsible for all design and engineering necessary to complete the building including but not limited to: Geotechnical investigations, Civil Site Design, Structural foundation design and pre-engineered metal building engineering and design in accordance with the Invitation for Bids and Contract Documents. TPWD reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any or all informalities in connection therewith. BID SECURITY: Unless otherwise stipulated in the Invitation for Bids and Contract Documents, only projects in which the total contract price exceeds $25,000.00, will require bid security. Bids exceeding $25,000.00 must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check drawn to the order of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid (including total of all separate bids for one or more projects bid and multiple base bids and/or alternate bids and/or optional bids and/or allowances).
