Site work for a civil project in North Parkersburg, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Each bidder shall require a Certified check,bank draft or acceptable surety bid bond in the amount equal to five percent 5% of the bid. All questions must be made in writing and emailed to Adam Stout, PE at adam.stout@parkersburgwv.gov. The Finance Director reserves the right to reject all bids or parts of bids for any one or more supplies or contractual services included in the proposed contract,when the public interest will be served. The general scope of work for this project is as follows: Contractor will rehabilitate around stream listed in this contract to restore adequate flow. Clear and grub vegetation around stream banks Remove sediment build ups that are impeding water flow when high volumes of water are present Clean up any debris or trash in project area Uncover sections of stream that are overgrown with vegetation and trees. Contractor is to implement best management practices for storm water runoff for the duration of the project. Install approximately 80 L.F. of 60 inch diameter HDPE Pipe where indicated in site plan Remove and reset existing guardrail Backfill 60 inch pipe in accordance to governing specifications
