Renovation of an educational facility in Asheville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
**Per Addendum 1 the bid date has been extended from 05/25/23 to 05/31/23* This work includes the provision of labor, material, equipment, supervision and administration to integrate the work outlined in these specifications into the total buildingsystem such that no leakage into the system occurs. In general, the scope of workintheBase Bid includes: 1. Roof Areas 34, 35 and 36: a. Remove and dispose of the existing roof system including flashings and sheet metal down to the existing lightweight insulating concrete. b. Provide roof insulation system as specified in Section 07 22 16"Roof Insulation". c. Fully adhere thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) membrane alongwithflashings and accessories as specified in Section 07 5423"Thermoplastic-Polyolefin Roofing". d. Replace sheet metal flashings and trim as specified in Section 076200"Sheet Metal Flashing and Trim" e. Provide manufactured fascia at roof edges as specified in Section077119 "Manufactured Gravel Stops and Fascias" f. Provide retrofit drain inserts at primary and overflow drains as specifiedin Section 22 14 26 "Roof Drains". g. Provide a complete, watertight, 20 year warrantable roof assembly.
