Renovation of a fire / police facility in Asheville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Description of Work: The overall scope of the project is to install generators to serve four fire stations during power outages. This includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Demolish existing generators, where applicable. 2. Revise service entrance and electrical panels to support the generator upgrades. 3. Install new owner supplied generators and automatic transfer switches. 4. Provide installation of all equipment and wiring. 5. Provide startup services, including load bank testing, commissioning, and operational testing. 6. Provide temporary power as needed to maintain building fire stations in operation at all times. Deadline to Submit Questions Tuesday May 16, 2023 by end of day Attendance to both the site visit / Pre-Bid meeting is mandatory. The City of Asheville reserves the right to postpone bid openings for its own convenience.
