Pursuant to the City of Asheville's Procurement, Purchasing and Contracting Policy, Proposals will be received by the City of Asheville for the following: Description of Work: The City of Asheville, North Carolina is requesting proposals for pumping, dredging, conditioning, and dewatering of water treatment residuals (sludge) and the removal and disposal of produced solids from the North Fork, William DeBruhl, and Mills River Water Treatment Facilities. The intent of this project is to remove to the fullest extent possible the accumulated sludge from the three (3) listed Water Treatment Facilities' Backwash Lagoons. The City of Asheville is looking for the best proposed means by which to accomplish the tasks. Deadline to Submit Questions Thursday, June 8, 2023 GPS will sometimes route visitors to the wrong entrance, so please call or email Bill Hart at (828) 271-6103 or bhart@ashevillenc.gov for directions prior to the day of the pre-bid meeting. This group will visit each of the City of Asheville water treatment plants to view the work sites, so please plan for a whole day. Each interested party must visit each worksite and sign an attendance role with the Individuals name, company name, and contact information. Directions to the North Fork WTP
