The Maryland Department of the Environment (the Department), Land and Materials Administration, is requesting Price Bids from qualified contractors to provide mowing, brush, and small tree removal maintenance services at specified Acid Mine Drainage (AMD) treatment system sites (29 sites total), see attachment B - Site Locations and Detail Information. This work will consist of mowing each Abandoned Mine Drainage System to provide a clear and safe walking service path to each designated site from the parked vehicle, berms/embankments, and along the edges of access roads. The contractor will be required to supply all labor, equipment, and supplies, fuel, etc. to complete the work once before July 15 and once during the month of October. The AMD treatment system locations, the mowing limits, and the type of mowing needed are shown on attachment B, Site Locations and Detail Information. Any brush/debris shall be disposed of along the edges of the brush hogged areas. A prospective vendor who has received this document from a source other than the Issuing Office should immediately log in or register on the new eMaryland Marketplace Advantage (eMMA) website system so that further communications can be sent to the prospective bidder. Failure to contact the Issuing Office may result in nonreceipt of important information. Question Deadline: June 7, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. EST
