**As of June 22, 2023, project was awarded to Universal Construction and Engineering, awarded amount is $1,413,178.90.** Engineer's Cost Estimate: $1,285,000 Time for Completion: 65 Working Days ; Liquidated Damages: $2,000 / Per Calendar Day Anticipated Construction Start Date*: July 24, 2023 Questions must be in writing and submitted by 3:00 P.M. on, Tuesday, May 30, 2023. (e-mail: vorrantia@indio.org) SCOPE OF WORK. The Project includes, without limitation, furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant Work necessary to satisfactorily complete the Project, as more specifically described in the Contract Documents. This Work will be performed in strict conformance with the Contract Documents, permits from regulatory agencies with jurisdiction, and applicable regulations. The quantity of Work to be performed and materials to be furnished are approximations only, being given as a basis for the comparison of Bids. Actual quantities of Work to be performed may vary at the discretion of the City Engineer. The specific scope of work includes paving Rancho Los Coyotes between Avenue 38 and Avenue 39 in Indio, north of Interstate 10. Work will include grading, drainage improvements, removing and installing asphalt concrete, aggregate base, and curb and gutter.
