A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Class A General Engineering Contractor License Or a combination of appropriate Specialty Contractor Licenses. The project consists of six median locations: 1) The median at the north parkway on Highway 111 at the intersection of Golf Center Drive 2) the median on Highway 111 between Jackson and Grace Street 3) the median on Highway 111 between Madison Street and the Stater Bros. center entrance; 4) the median on Highway 111 between Monroe Street and the entrance to Vista Paint 5) the median on Highway 111 between Rubidoux Street and the Little Caesar entrance and 6) the median on Jefferson Street between Country Club Drive and Indio Boulevard. The work will include, but is not limited to, demolition of existing plant material, removal of concrete, installation of new plants, rock groundcover, electrical pullboxes and in-ground lighting, electric meter connections, boring, patchwork, new water main lines, and water meter connections. Each Bid must be accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier check, certified check or Bidder Bond issued by a Surety insurer, made payable to the City and in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total Bid submitted. Personal or company checks are not acceptable. Upon Contract award, the Contractor shall provide faithful performance and payment Bonds, each in a sum equal to the Contract Price.
