Site work for an educational facility in Northampton, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a 2,274-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.
Smith Vocational and Agricultural High School (SVAHS) is accepting quotes from qualified contractors for the excavation and site preparation of SVAHS's new Companion Animal building. Contractors are responsible for obtaining appropriate permits to complete this project. SVAHS and the City of Northampton maintain the right to reject any and all bids. This project needs to start no later than June 9, 2023 The excavation and site preparation work for the footing forms must be completed by June 14, 2023 in order for the footing forms be installed on schedule. A 50% payment bond is required if this contract is over $25,000.00. Insurance should require Workers Compensation in statutory amounts and General Liability for $500,000 with the City of Northampton named as an additional insured on the certificate provided to the City before the contract is signed.
