Site work for a road / highway in Lexington, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The Project includes the partial removal of the existing traffic signal at the intersection of US Route 60 (East Nelson Street) and Evergreen Place as shown on the Plans; reusing the existing traffic signal and pedestal poles, conduits, junction boxes, and electrical service as shown on the Plans; and the installation of new traffic signal equipment including new span wire & tether cable system, signal heads, conductor cables, controller cabinet, traffic signal controller, UPS system, wireless vehicle detection system, emergency vehicle preemption system, wireless broadband radio, pedestrian push buttons, pedestrian signal heads and appurtenances, and other equipment as required. All questions regarding this solicitation shall be submitted in writing and directed to the attention of Doug Sisson, at dsisson@lexingtonva.gov. Questions are due by Monday, May 22, 2023, at 5:00 PM.
