The Project work includes Pavement Maintenance that will be performed at ERHS 600's Lot. The Project work includes Pavement Maintenance that will be performed at SMHS 500's Lot. Santa Maria High School,901 South Broadway, Santa Maria, CA 93454 & Ernest Righetti High School (ERHS), 941 E. Foster Rd., Santa Maria, 93455. Scope of work: Includes, but is not limited to, the following as is more defined in the bid documents: Ernest Righetti High School (ERHS) The Project work includes Pavement Maintenance that will be performed at ERHS 600's Lot. The work includes but is not limited to protection of existing improvements above and below grade, demolition and removal of existing improvements as called for, construction of PCC curb & gutter, PCC flat work, reinforcing, drop inlet, storm drain pipe, trench backfill, furnishing and installation of fencing, man gate and vehicular gate, backfilling, compaction and restoration of existing disturbed slope, grinding / removal of existing asphalt pavement, grading compaction and variable depth (1"-1.5") hot mix asphalt overlay paving, grinding off of existing striping, cleaning, sweeping double asphalt seal coat, striping and restoration of all disturbed existing improvements. Santa Maria High School (SMHS) The Project work includes Pavement Maintenance that will be performed at SMHS 500's Lot. The work includes but is not limited protection of existing improvements above and below grade, demolition and removal of existing improvements as called for, asphalt pavement point repairs, PCC point repairs, furnishing and installation of fencing, man gate and vehicular gate, existing utility abandonment, grinding off of existing striping, double asphalt seal coat, striping and restoration and sweeping of all disturbed existing improvements. This Project is subject to labor compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1771.4 and subject to the requirements of Title 8 of the California Code of Regulations. The successful Bidder shall comply with all requirements of Division 2, Part 7, Chapter 1, Articles 1-5 of the Labor Code. The Contractor and all Subcontractors under the Contractor shall comply with applicable federal, State, and local requirements relating to COVID-19 or other public health emergency/epidemic/pandemic protocols. The District shall award the Contract, if it awards it at all, to the lowest responsive responsible bidder based on: the base bid amount only. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. If the District awards the Contract, the security of unsuccessful bidder(s) shall be returned within sixty (60) days from the time the award is made. Unless otherwise required by law, no bidder may withdraw its bid for ninety (90) days after the date of the bid opening.
