The project is expected to be awarded around late September.** The project consists of replacing badly worn play equipment at Dominguez Park and to reposition the play areas, maintenance drives, landscaping and pedestrian walkways in the playground area. The work includes demolition, grading, playground site preparation (The City has a separate agreement for the purchase and installation of the playground equipment and playground rubber surfacing - Contractor will coordinate with playground vendor for the installation of these items during the course of construction); construction of concrete and decomposed granite pedestrian walkways, related amenities; construction of curb and gutter, retaining walls, steps; construction of storm drain appurtenances; landscaping and irrigation; and other work per Plans and Specifications. The work shall also include all permitting, mobilization, and coordination required to complete the work shown in the contract document. The estimated cost of the above described work is $999,900. Bidders shall have an active Class A license from the Contractors State License Board, a minimum of 5 years of applicable experience and 5 recently completed similar public works projects, at the time of submitting bid. The project contract shall be completed and facility shall be made ready for service within 110 working days after the Notice to Proceed is issued.
