Renovation of a residential development in Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

The Housing Authority of the City of Sacramento is soliciting sealed bids for Invitation for Bid 2321-KPma for Rehabilitation of nine dwelling units at the Marina Vista public housing community located at 17, 47,98,136,150,155 & 326 Seavey Circle, 402 River Bend Circle, and 2776 5th Street, Sacramento, CA 95818. Possible subcontracting trades are Cabinet, Millwork & Finish Carpentry; C-6,Construction Clean-up; C-61/D-63,Drywall Contractor; C-9,Flooring & Floor Covering; C-15,Electrical Contractor; C-10,Glazing Contractor; C-17,Insulation & Accoustical; C-2,Painting & Decorating; C-33,Plumbing Contractor; C-36,Window Coverings; C-61/D-52. Scope of work for each unit may include the removal and replacement of any or all of the following: interior drywall patching and/or replacement and retexturing, insulation, windows and doors and trim, cabinets and countertops, flooring, lighting and electrical systems as indicated, plumbing systems as indicated, and unit cleanup. Interior painting. The estimated bonding range is $850,000 to $900,000. Interested licensed B - General contractors are required to attend at least one of the Pre-Bid Conference(s) to be held at the location(s), date(s), and time(s) indicated in the Timeline. This contract is subject to Federal labor standards,, Section 3 Requirements of the HUD Act of 1968,, The Davis-Bacon Act,, Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprise standards,. For bids in excess of $25,000, bidders will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Bid Bond in the amount of not less than 5% of the total bid price. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of not less than 100% of the contract price. Pursuant to the California Public Contract Code Section 22300 the Contractor may request that the Agency substitute a security in the amount of the performance retention. This is a Public Works project. Per California State Labor Code Section 1771.1 (a), a contractor or subcontractor shall not be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal, subject to the requirements of Section 4104 of the Public Contract Code, or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, as defined in this chapter, unless currently registered and qualified to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5. Notwithstanding any other requirements (including federal labor requirements), this contract is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
