The Corporation of the Township of Langley invites tenders for FT 23-204 Expansion and evacuation of the existing Nathan Creek sediment basin located upstream of the 272nd Street bridge. Work includes but is not limited to: Excavation to increase the size of the existing sediment basin Construction of a riprap armoured inlet and outlet channel Installation of a pre-cast concrete headwall and riprap diversion weir with a 600 mm HDPE flow bypass pipe, and inlet flapgate Excavation of an enhanced backwater channel and installation of Large Woody Debris (LWD) habitat features Environmental protection associated with works in and around a sensitive watercourse, and; Other miscellaneous and incidental works as described in the Contract Documents.
