**As of July 6,2023, project was awarded to North Star Development, awarded amount is $63,715.57.** The Work consists of removal and disposal of worn or damaged siding on approximately ten (10) buildings, installing replacement sidings, trim, wood blocking, "Z" flashing, and painting the new siding. The new, primed T-111 siding, trim, wood blocking, "Z" flashing, and paint to be provided by the city. Bids must be submitted within a sealed envelope with the bidder's name and address and labeled: "Arcata Corporation Yard Buildings Siding Replacement Project." All responses must be made on the Bid Proposal and Schedule provided in Attachment B to be considered for award. Contractors must possess, at minimum, a Class B General Building Contractor's License to bid, possess a valid Business License from the City of Arcata prior to commencing work, and demonstrate the necessary qualifications to complete the work described in the Scope of Work in Attachment A. The selected contractor will enter into a construction contract (Attachment C Sample Construction Contract) prior to commencing work. The City of Arcata has determined that prevailing wages apply to this Project.
