Tri-County Metropolitan Transportation District of Oregon (TriMet) operates public transit services within the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area. Its boundaries are within Multnomah, Clackamas and Washington counties. TriMet operates a fleet of approximately 720 transit buses, 145 light rail vehicles, 6 diesel multiple-unit (DMU) commuter rail vehicles, and 285 support vehicles. TriMet is an Oregon Municipal Corporation created on October 14, 1969 pursuant to Oregon Revised A. Contractor shall supply goods described herein and in Price Form 1.1.1. Contractor shall place orders for materials within three (3) business days of receiving an Order Request from TriMet's Project Manager, or designee(s). B. All materials shall be wrapped, packaged and crated as necessary to assure damage free shipping. C. Before shipment, Contractor shall verify TriMet is ready to accept delivery. D. Contractor shall repair or replace any damaged, flawed, or defective goods. Contractor shall replace minor components such as, but not limited to, mounting hardware and screws that are shipped via UPS, FedEx or similar service and not received, at no expense to TriMet. E. Supplier shall pay for all shipping or handling associated with damaged goods. F. If a specified piece of equipment becomes discontinued during the term of the Contract, Supplier shall submit a replacement to TriMet for approval. G. Equipment installation and maintenance is not included in this Contract and shall be performed by others
