On behalf of NEUSE CHARTER FACILITIES, I am presenting this Request for Proposal (RFP) for Pre-construction and Construction Management Services for development and construction of approximately 25,000 SF 2-story school facility with steel frame at 909 M. Durwood Stephenson Parkway, Smithfield, North Carolina T1S11 identified as Phase IV of long-range school development and expansion plan. NEUSE CHARTER FACILITIES has authorized a project budget of $ 7 million to construct Phase IV of master plan which shall include a +- 25,000 SF, 2-story school facility. This budget includes site improvements, all professional fees permits and fees, and construction period interest. The architect has been selected for this project and preliminary conceptual drawings have been completed. The architectural firm selected is Design Development Architects of Raleigh, North Carolina. Neuse Charter School is seeking to apply for a $ 5 million dollar loan through USDA and/or conventional lenders, and selected Architectural Firm of Design Development Architects of Raleigh to design a classroom facility containing approximately 25,000 SF in a 2-story building to be constructed on existing Smithfield campus location at 909 M. Durwood Stephenson Parkway, Smithfield, North Carolina. The 26-acre site currently contains Phase I, II & III of the planned campus is currently operating at this location, consisting of a gymnasium, current administration offices, surface parking and several temporary mobile units housing student population.
