Motor Rewinds, Minor Motor Repair, Pump Repair, Exchange of Small Units and Motors for the Water Resources Department, and other City Departments The successful contractor may be required to post a performance bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total awarded contract or an amount negotiated at the time of award. to be acceptable to both parties. Pricing will be reviewed at the beginning of each renewal period Minor Motor Repair: Minor motor repair shall include testing, disassembling, cleaning, adjusting, painting turning
commutator, replacement of all necessary minor parts, including but not limited to sleeve bearings, switches,
brushes, brush brackets and oil wicks. All necessary parts for minor motor repair shall be bid at a percentage
markup from wholesale cost. Shop labor and machine work shall be bid at certain rates. Pump Repair: Pump repair work shall include all repairs needed to units and parts. Machine work shall be bid
at a certain rate per hour. Submersible pumps, a new factory seal sleeve and power cord shall be installed, 25 ft
in length unless otherwise indicated by the City of Edmond. The City reserves the right to reject bids which incorporates counter bids and conditions in the form of
vendor's pre-printed clauses. The City reserves the right to accept or reject all or part of any bid, waive informalities, minor irregularities,
or substitute items as desired if deemed in the best interest of the City, therefore selecting the optimum bid
or issue a new Solicitation to Bid The City reserves the right to reject bids when procedures stated within are not followed.
