The County of Union intends to construct articulated open cell armor concrete matting adjacent and underneath the existing bridge to prevent further erosion and scour on the bridge that is located on Central Avenue over the Robinsons Branch. Construction equipment such as excavators, cranes, and dump trucks will be the dominant construction equipment on-site during the construction of the scour protection consisting of articulated open cell armor concrete matting.
