Taunton State Hospital Fire Suppression Services includes fire pump and hydrants. Detailed Scope of Work:. Inspect and test the following systems: Wet Pipe Systems (7) Dry Pipe System (5) Diesel Fire Pump (1) Sprinkler Valve Post Indicator (13) In keeping in compliance with JCAHO (Joint Commission for Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations), CMS (Centers for Medicaid/Medicare Services), and the Taunton Fire Department Provide materials and labor to test, troubleshoot, repair, or replace fire sprinkler systems and equipment, including but not limited to sprinkler heads, gauges, flow switches, valves and valve components, including check valves, reduced pressure detectors, and backflow prevention assemblies. Check integrity of standpipes, fire department connections, pre-action system, main drain and flow test hose connections. Ensure that hydraulic calculations for any new installations or specific use equipment are appropriate to handle GPM (gallon per minute) specifications of the piping systems. All work is to be performed per NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) Codes 25, 72, and 101. The inspection will be performed in accordance with the requirements as outlined by the NFPA 25 and Joint Commission requirements, according to recommended procedures of the manufacture Water Base Systems tested quarterly at 100%. Fire Pump flow tested annually at 100%. Dry System tested. All sprinkler devices tested quarterly at 100%. Fire Hydrant Flow test annually (21) Labor Rates - All Labor must to Prevailing Wage. Contract Period - The contract shall be a 3-year contract year one 7-1-2023-6-30-2024. Year 2, 7-1-2024 -6-30-2025. Year 3, 7-1-2025 - 6-30-2026.
