Renovation of an educational facility in Chicago, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Provide labor and material to complete the following: o Shut down domestic water supply to building and drain. o Demolish approximately: o o300' of 2" domestic cold water supply piping o o600' of 1" domestic hot water supply piping (2 separate lines) o o300' of 3/4" and 1" domestic hot water return piping. o Dispose of all piping and material offsite. o Demolition of water lines to start at the tees, above the reflected ceiling, by Room 148, to the North end of the South Building. Refer to general notes about installation type and install. o Install the following footages of piping: o o300' of 2" domestic cold water supply piping o o600' of 1" domestic hot water supply piping (2 separate lines) o o300' of 3/4" and 1" domestic hot water return piping. o -Fill system and test for proper operation. If bid price is over $25,000, you MUST submit a bid bond at time of bid.If bid price is over $75,000, you MUST include your MBE/WBE subs and relevant forms at time of bid Each Bidder must include in their Bid the premium cost for the performance and payment Bond in the full amount of their contract, when the project is over $50,000. If the Bidder fails to furnish the performance bond within seven (7) days after acceptance of the Bidder's Bid, by the Board, the Bid acceptance maybe rescinded and the Bidder maybe precluded from further Bidding with the Board. The performance Bond must be issued by a surety acceptable to the Board and Licensed by the State of Illinois.
