Remodeling and renovation of a military facility in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the remodel of a military facility.
This is a Design-Bid-Build (DBB) construction project includes demolition of the existing HVAC system conditioning Building 19. Scope includes but is not limited to demolition of two (2) existing roof mounted units with DX cooling, natural gas heating, one (1) existing roof mounted make-up air/exhaust system equipped with natural gas heating, one (1) split system unit and associated exterior roof mounted condensing unit. Demolition also includes all condensate and refrigerant piping. Provide the building with an entirely new VRF/DOAS HVAC system (except exhaust fans) with the implementation of new electronic controls with graphic displays on a new BMS workstation located in the Mechanical Room. The selected system approach, shall be able to reuse the majority of the existing air distribution system. Include new power feeds to all new HVAC equipment. Replace breakers and wiring as required. Include new panel boards and associated branch circuits as required to accommodate the increased quantity of HVAC units and incidental related work.
