Plans call for a new student housing development on the CBU campus at 1250 Grand Lake Road in Sydney, Nova Scotia. The new apartment-style residence is expected to feature: - Capacity for 100 to 200 beds; - Kitchen access or the ability to cook within units; - Administrative space on the main floor; - Dedicated mail room for residence students; and - Emergency power source. TIMELINE: Request for proposals from developers was awarded in mid-2023. Scope of work and timelines for construction are yet to be finalized, pending approvals. Further update may be available early 2026.
