The contractor shall abide by all local, state, and federal regulations and reporting requirements regarding the removal and disposal of lead and any other incidental potentially hazardous or special containing materials associated with this project. All work shall be completed within the guidelines for the best management practices for outdoor ranges as defined by the Environmental Protection Agency and the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality. All work done under the scope of this contract shall be subject to available funding. Tasks may be assigned in part or in whole at the discretion of the City or their designee. No work shall be completed without the appropriate notice to proceed issued by the Director of the Law Enforcement Training Academy (the “Director of Training”). The Contractor should be able, ready, and willing to perform any and/or all work upon issuance of a notice to proceed. The Contractor shall provide all permits, supplies, equipment, labor, and supervision necessary to complete the following tasks (without limitation) on a periodic basis as requested by the Director of Training throughout the term of the contract: ALL INQUIRIES FOR INFORMATION SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO LATONYA CARTER, PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST II, PHONE: (757) 382-8519; All questions must be submitted via email to lecarter@cityofchesapeake.net before 11:00 AM EST, May 24, 2023.
