As of August 4, 2023, a general contractor has been selected. All trades have been awarded. The work primarily consists of, but is not limited to: Demolition 1. Remove two (2) 3,330 mbh input, existing gas fired condensing type boilers located within the mechanical room. 2. Remove existing hot water supply and return water piping headers. 3. Disconnect existing gas piping connections to boilers. 4. Remove existing boiler primary pumps. 5. Remove existing combustion exhaust and intakes. 6. Disconnect existing temperature controls wiring and hardware. 7. Disconnect electrical connections. New Work 1. Install two (2) new gas fired, condensing type boilers. Both to have 2,500 mbh input capacity. Boilers to be mounted on existing concrete pad. 2. Install new combustion exhaust and intake air piping. Existing roof penetrations and caps are to be reutilized for exterior termination. 3. Fabricate and install new hot water supply and return piping headers and connect to new boilers. 4. Reconnect existing gas piping to new appliances. Pipe shall be resized and reconfigured to match new boiler capacities. Regulators shall be indicated as well. 5. Install boiler pumps per manufacturers recommendations. 6. Install boiler sequencing controls and connect to the existing DDC system. 7.
