As of April 23, 2024 the project was awarded to ECI Construction but no award amount provided Project location is at the Harrisburg Housing Authority's Lick Tower located 1301 N Sixth Street in Harrisburg, PA. The project includes renovations and additions to the exterior of the building and some minor interior work as indicated on the Contract Drawings. This is the first phase of renovations to Lick Tower. The work of the Project has been divided into three (3) prime contracts: General Construction, Mechanical Construction, and Electrical Construction. All prime contractors are responsible for reviewing and familiarizing themselves with all of the information contained in the Contract Documents which are provided in the Project Manual and on the Contract Drawings. The Bidding Requirements, Contract Forms, Project Forms, and Division 1 General Requirements located in the Project Manual are applicable to all prime contracts. The following information describes the scope of work for each of the prime contracts. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive informalities in the bidding. HHA reserves the right to award more than one contract for services, and task work to awardees in a manner that HHA deems necessary or appropriate. A bid guarantee is required of at least 5% of the bid. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Harrisburg Housing Authority. HHA requires equal opportunity in competitive contracting as a matter of Public Policy. HHA is requiring a 25% presumptive objective for MBE/WBE participation for all contracts. Any bidder with less than 15% MBE and 10% WBE may be determined as "irresponsible". Subcontract dollar amounts are included towards the MBE/WBE calculation.
