The intent of the contract is to provide for construction and completion, in every detail, of the work described. It is further intended that the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies required to complete the work in accordance with the plans, specifications, and terms of the contract The City of Naples Airport Authority is seeking sealed bids for the Runway 5-23 Interior Perimeter Roads Project at Naples Airport.This project generally consists of the relocation of the existing airport perimeter service road at the Runway 23 end and construction of a new perimeter service road at the Runway 5 end. Work items include site preparation, erosion control, excavation, grading, drainage, placement of base materials and asphalt pavement, taxiway edge lighting adjustments, marking, signage, and associated items as detailed in the project plans and specifications. Answers to all questions will be compiled into an addendum and posted above on Monday, June 5, 2023. A bid bond or certified cashier's check payable to the City of Naples Airport Authority, equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid amount must be enclosed with the bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid within a period of one hundred fifty (150) days after the actual date of opening thereof. The City of Naples Airport Authority reserves the right to waive any formalities, technicalities, or irregularities in; or reject any or all Bids; or to re-advertise for Bids and award or refrain from awarding the Contract for the Work.
