Reference Number 0000316607 Purchase Type Term: 07/01/2023 02:00 AM EDT - 06/30/2024 02:00 AM EDT Option: 4 Additional 1 Year Renewals Question Acceptance Deadline 05/26/2023 3:00 PM MT Questions are submitted online No The City of Fort Collins is requesting proposals from qualified Professionals to assist the City with ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act and ICC-A117.1) and American National Standards Institute (ANSI) compliance for existing buildings and new construction. The awarded Professional will assist the City in the evaluation and development of facility accessibility plans, provide consulting services for ADA/ANSI compliance / evaluation and, a Transition Plan Development (ADA Transition Plan) to provide options with detail how issues will be corrected. The City currently has 80+ public buildings in operation. Building ages range from constructed in the 1950s through current year. Changes to ADA and ANSI have evolved over the years, including the 2017 ICC-A117.1 which is required by the City Building Codes. The City did complete a facility survey of our major facilities back in 2015 and we are working through a transition plan to address items identified along with working to make sure any new facilities constructed comply with the current codes.
