Work includes obtaining all necessary permits for each work location, furnishing and installing approximately 13,380 feet of 4-inch to 12-inch cured-in-place pipe and performing related required work located in San Leandro, Oakland, Berkeley, Richmond, and El Cerrito, California. This project will require multiple trades and types of work; for example (note: this list is not all- inclusive): saw-cutting, hazardous materials handling, excavation, shoring, fill, concrete, pipeline, cured-in-place pipe lining, paving, and other required work and trades. All work covered by the contract shall be completed within four hundred (400) calendar days after the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Bidders shall have an active Class A and the cured-in-place pipe subcontractor shall have an active Class C-34 license from the Contractors' State License Board at the time of submitting bid. Performance and payment bonds for not less than 100 percent of the contract price are required. This is a public works contract. Prevailing wages are required on this contract. Prospective bidders may obtain the Contract Documents by downloading the files from the district's website. Prospective bidders who download the documents from the website shall register online or send an email to specs@ebmud.com (include first and last name, business name, address, phone number, fax number, email address, MBE/WBE status if applicable, and the specification you wish to be listed for) in order to be included on the Plan Holders List. Bidders shall print the forms out and submit their bid proposals via hardcopy. Wet-signed copies of all forms are required.
