The Next Level Signage Project – Phase 2 is expected to include, but not be limited to, the following: Fabrication and installation of two (2) Tier 1 signs, specifications provided (see Tier 1 Sign Design and Tier 1 Sign Specifications) to ensure that the structure, foundations and materials used are durable, long-lasting, and will withstand environmental conditions. All materials and specifications of signs must comply with Alberta Transportation requirements (e.g., breakaway posts, etc.). Final details on proposed sign and posts must be submitted to Alberta Transportation prior to the placement of signs. Scale, fabricate and install one (1) sign for Tier 2 location based on a scaled-down Tier 1 design. Colours, logos, materials and all other Tier 1 Sign specifications (other than sizing) must remain the same. A general location map is provided (see Map). Obtain all permits and approvals from Alberta Transport. Ensure utility locates completed as required for setbacks and to avoid conflicts or damage to any underground utilities prior to placement of signs. Supply and install all the components of the signage, including any sitework required for the installation. Remove and dispose of old signage if present (can arrange drop off at Wheatland Municipal Office yard). Traffic Accommodation Strategy (TAS) submitted to Alberta Transportation for review and acceptance prior to any work in highway right-of-way. Maintenance Contract Inspector at Alberta Transportation must be notified prior to construction commencement. Provide methodology/quality assurance used to determine selection of proposed materials and any other value adds the vendors would like to share. Warranty period of at least two years from completion date. Please provide warranty details.
