This Request for Quotations is for the fabrication and installation of a 13.716m long aluminum foot bridge and construction of the associated footings/abutments in Storie Creek Park. Storie Creek Park is located in the SRD's Electoral Area D (Oyster Bay-Buttle Lake), south of the City of Campbell River (Figure 1). The work site is located on Storie Creek, a salmon bearing stream (Figure 2). The existing steel and wood bridge has significantly degraded and needs to be entirely replaced. The scope of work includes the following components: Detailed design of new aluminum bridge (fabrication drawing certified by a Professional Engineer to be supplied by the contractor) Fabrication of aluminum bridge Material supply and transport/delivery of materials to site Demolition, removal and disposal of the existing bridge Layout of the new bridge components Construction/installation of new footings/abutments Installation of aluminum foot bridge Environmental management requirements All other requirements detailed below Award not released for publication.
