Site work for a water / sewer project in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Scope in various locations of Scranton City Hall 340 N Washington St, Scranton Pa : Basement near holding cells Freeze 2-1/2" pipe, install shut-off valves, replace and insulate 40' of piping, Basement/ First Floor Locate the leak in the piping on the first floor. Freeze 2" piping in the basement and at a location in the ceiling on the first floor. Install shut-off valves and replace piping from the basement up through the first floor to a location in the ceiling. New pipe and fittings must be insulated. IT Corner Office Freeze 2" Pipe install shut-off valves and raise piping up 6 inches from the ceiling grid so piping can be insulated. Civil Service Freeze 2" Piping and install shut-off valves. Replace damaged piping. Replace all piping to the unit ventilator. This will include replacing the union that is currently leaking. Human Resources Replace 40' of insulation on existing piping. The current insulation on the piping is not sealed correctly to stop condensation. Business Administration Freeze 2 1/2" Piping and install shut-off valves. Replace 20' of the riser pipe and reinsulate. The City of Scranton reserves the right to waive minor irregularities in the procedures or proposals if it is deemed in the best interests of the City of Scranton. Questions about this project shall be submitted in writing via Q&A through the City's e-Procurement Portal, before 3:00 pm on Friday, June 9, 2023
