Renovation of a water / sewer project in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Replacement of the South Lime Slaker at the Stillwater Water Treatment Plant is inclusive of all materials, labor, equipment, appurtenances, programming, testing, and other items necessary for a complete and functional system meeting the manufacturer's specifications and the design criteria outlined in the Contract drawings. Bids will be referred to city staff for evaluation. The City Council may award to the "lowest and best responsible bidder". The Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions thereof and to waive any technicalities in the bidding process. No bid may be altered, withdrawn, or resubmitted within 45 days after the date set for the opening of bids Each bidder is required to submit with their bid a guarantee in the form of an acceptable bidder's bond, a certified check, or a cashier's check on a solvent bank in the state of Oklahoma, and in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder shall execute a contract within 14 days of notice of award by the city. The successful bidder shall file a performance bond, maintenance bond, statutory bond and certificates of insurance in the statutory amounts for public liability and workers compensation insurance at the time of signing the contract.
