The successful bidder shall file a performance bond, maintenance bond, statutory bond and certificates of insurance in the statutory amounts for public liability and workers compensation insurance at the time of signing the contract. Each bidder is required to submit with their bid a guarantee in the form of an acceptable bidder's bond, a certified check, or a cashier's check on a solvent bank in the state of Oklahoma, and in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder shall execute a contract within 14 days of notice of award by the city. The Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions thereof and to waive any technicalities in the bidding process. No bid may be altered, withdrawn, or resubmitted within 45 days after the date set for the opening of bids. Scope of work to primarily include the following: 1. Removal of two stock piles of excavated material and disposal of the material in the designated landfill at 1717 Yost Rd, Stillwater, OK 74075; 2. Removal of scrap tires from the excavated material for disposal at the Convenience Collection Center at 807 S. Perkins Rd., Stillwater, OK 74074; 3. Hydro mulch sodding and seeding the area after the removal of excavated material.
