As of January 31, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The Work of this project Renovations for Sheriff's Facility 515 Cherry Road consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, services and incidentals; and of performing all work necessary to complete all specified work in accordance with the Contract Documents The work for this project consists of the removal and replacement of three (3) overhead coiling Doors with all associated accessories and door controls. Rework or replace four (4) walk-in doors, frames, hardware as indicated and detailed on the drawings. Removal of seven (7) groups of four (4) existing steel windows totaling twenty eight (28) individual windows and replacing with masonry as indicated and detailed on the drawings. The demolished material shall be properly disposed of by the contractor. Each Bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check or Bid Bond made payable to the OWNER in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid if the total amount of the bid exceeds $30,000. Generally, the bid security of all Bidders, including the three (3) lowest responsible Bidders, will be returned within ten (10) days after the OWNER and the accepted Bidder have executed the written Contract and the accepted Bidder has filed acceptable Performance and Indemnity and Payment Bonds. Upon request and no earlier than thirty (30) days after the formal opening of bids, the County will return the bid security of any Bidder. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or any part of any Bid, to waive any informality in any Bid, or to re-advertise for all or part of the work contemplated. If Bids are found to be acceptable by the OWNER, written Notice of Award will be given to the lowest responsible Bidder of the acceptance of the Bid and of the award of the Contract.
