August 26,2024, project was awarded to Wiley Easton Construction Co., Inc., awarded amount is $5,018,512.50. The Work of this project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and incidentals; to perform all work necessary to complete all specified work. The work generally consists of the construction of a new entrance road to the Catawba Bend Preserve. Construction includes new bathrooms, parking lot, fee station, and dam repairs. Paving will begin near the existing entrance drive at 3271 Neely Store Road, extending approximately 6,400 linear feet into the park. Questions Deadline: No later than June 20, 2024 at 4:00 p.m Tentative Date of Council Approval: July 15, 2024 Completion time for the project will be 365 calendar days as set forth in the Agreement
