AMENDMENT 03 - Is being entered to correct Past Performance Questionaire Due date. See Amendment 03 attachment. This is a Request for Proposal for construction services. The U. S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service, Southeastern Fruit, and Tree Nut Research Laboratory (SEFTNRL), located in Byron, GA., has a requirement to renovate 15 laboratories that will ultimately standardize and enhance research capabilities (depending on the availability of funds). The work includes but is not limited to: The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, professional services, and supervision necessary to renovate 4 laboratories with options to renovate 11 additional laboratories. The contractor shall provide a detailed technical proposal and cost breakdown for the entire project. The solicitation number is 12405B24R0013 and is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). The NAICS code is 236220 with a size standard of $45.0 M. Contractors shall not directly contact the facility to discuss this requirement. During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions. Contractors are required to be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submitting a proposal. You can register on- line at www.sam.gov. If you are already registered and your registration has expired, you will need to go the SAM website and update your information. Please refer to Section L.7 (b) of the attached Clauses and Provisions for site visit information. SIZE OF PROJECT: In accordance with FAR 36-204, the estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. All questions pertaining to this solicitation, including questions that arise during the site visit, must be submitted to huron.virdenusda.gov by July 16, 2024. Questions that are not submitted in writing or that are not submitted by July 16, 2024, may not receive a response. Questions/answers discussed at the site visit will not be binding on the resultant contract unless submitted in writing and incorporated into the solicitation by amendment. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
