The Corporation reserves the right to evaluate the financial stability and capability of the Proponent to perform and complete the work as detailed within the Terms of Reference of the RFP. The Proponent shall provide, to the Corporation upon request, supporting evidence of suitable financial capacity to perform the value of the work (letter from bank, credit report, etc.). The financial stability of the Proponent shall be evaluated on a Pass or Fail basis. Advise the City of Cornwall for the acquisition of all consents, approvals, licenses and permits related to the proposed work. Prepare and submit the permit applications and respond to the regulatory agencies, on behalf of the City of Cornwall, who will pay all fees for the required permits, outside of the cost of the Consultant assignment. Repair/replacement of electrical work has blanket coverage by the CIty. New electrical work requires a contractor’s permit Conduct an annual on-site inspection and review service records for all elevating devices and provide written certification that the maintenance required by the Owner’s contract with the elevator service companies have been performed. Inspections are to include the elevator car, hoist way, all mechanical and electrical components, machine room and controller Review the Owner’s current elevator service contract(s) specification and make recommendations to improve the contracts wording and content to protect the interests of the building Owner Question Deadline 05/26/2023 at 4:30 PM ET
