Maintenance Vegetation Safety Management Project, Route 42, 55 and 76 – 2023, Camden and Gloucester Counties; Federal Project No: CRRSAA-FLEX-D00S(639), PE No: 2622833, CE No: 2207504, DP No: 23420. Estimated Range between $1,000,001 to $5,000,000 Work Types are eligible to bid this project: 6 or 6F Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.35(d), if the Commissioner of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development (LWD Commissioner) makes an initial determination that an employer has violated the provisions of P.L.1963, c.150 (C.34:11-56.25 et seq.) by paying wages at rates less than the rates applicable under that act, the LWD Commissioner may immediately issue a stop-work order to cease all business operations at every site where the violation has occurred, and may assess a civil penalty of $5,000 per day against the employer for each day it conducts business operations in violation of the stop-work order. If the stop-work order is issued against a subcontractor, the general contractor may terminate that subcontractor from the project in accordance with N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.35(d). Pursuant to the DIANE B. ALLEN EQUAL PAY ACT, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.14(b), the Contractor shall provide to the Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, through certified payroll records required pursuant to P.L.1963, c.150 (C.34:11-56.25 et seq.), information regarding the gender, race, job title, occupational category, and rate of total compensation of every employee of the employer employed in the State in connection with the Contract. The Contractor shall provide the Commissioner, throughout the duration of the Contract, with an update to the information whenever payroll records are required to be submitted pursuant to P.L.1963, c.150 (C.34:11-56.25 et seq.). Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. (P.L 1975, c. 127); N.J.A.C. 17:27-3.8 Minimum Wage Rates for This Project Shall Be as Specified in the "Prevailing Wage Determination of the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development" on File With This Department. The Attention of Bidders is Directed to the Provisions Covering Subletting or Assigning the Contract to Section 108_prosecution and Completion of the New Jersey Department of Transportation Standard Specifications. The Entire Work is to Be Completed on or Before The Estimated Completion Date Stated Above. DOT reserves its right to reject any and/or all bids in accordance with N.J.S.A. 27:7-30 and N.J.S.A. 27:7-33 NJDOT - Call Order 420 - Maintenance Vegetation Safety Management Project *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
