The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified licensed sources for Geotechnical Engineering and Construction Materials Testing and Inspection services on an as needed basis through professional services competitive negotiation. Services will include, but are not limited to: field exploration, laboratory classification, engineering analysis, foundation recommendations, site feasibility, environmental services, monitoring, inspection and testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, masonry, steel, welding, roofing, fireproofing, and other related services. Services also include related disciplines as needed by the Town of Herndon on an on-call basis. All questions concerning the RFP shall be submitted in writing to the Purchasing Agent, Andrea Lourenco, at andrea.lourenco@herndon-va.gov no later than June 2, 2023. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject all or any parts of proposals, waive minor technicalities/informalities and award the contract to the most qualified and best suited Offeror to best serve the interests of the Town. Any contract resulting from this RFP shall have a term limit of one (1) year
