Renovation of a municipal facility in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The County of Lehigh is soliciting bids to furnish and deliver all equipment, labor and materials necessary for the TANDEM COMPRESSOR REPLACEMENT PROJECT at the Lehigh County Courthouse Description of the Work 11.1 Furnish and deliver all equipment, labor and materials necessary for the removal and replacement of three (3) sets of tandem compressors from the below listed condensing unit. The unit is located on the eight-floor roof of the Lehigh County Courthouse. 11.1.1 AAON factory tag CU-1 11.1.2 AAON Model #CL-190-3-0-BA08-000 11.1.3 Serial #201903-BCAU00234 11.2 Recovery and proper disposal of any contaminated refrigerant. 11.3 Removal of tandem compressors for circuits 1, 2 and 3 and replacement with new Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) tandem compressors. 11.3.1 The successful bidder will be responsible for shipping the removed compressors back to the manufacturer (AAON) for warranty coverage evaluation. This would be the extent of the successful bidder's responsibility regarding the removed compressors. 11.4 Furnish and install vibration isolators on suction line piping on all three (3) circuits. 11.5 Furnish and install a suction line shutoff valve on circuit #1. 11.6 Furnish and install new filter dryer cores. 11.7 Furnish and install a total of six (6) new compressor contactors. 11.8 Evacuation and dehydration of circuit to recommended level. 11.9 Re-charge of each circuit with new 410-A refrigerant. 11.10 Addition of acid/moisture scavenger to affected circuits. 11.11 Start up and testing to ensure proper operation. Firm shall arrange for an AAON factory representative to be on site for this and any associated costs shall be included in the bid price. 11.12 Three (3) additional trips shall be included in the bid price after start up to replace filter dryer cores. Trips shall be scheduled for two (2) weeks, four (4) weeks and six (6) weeks after installation is complete and accepted by the County. Questions / Clarifications Any official questions and/or clarifications shall be directed, in writing, to the person noted below, on or before 4:00 P.M., May 30, 2023. Questions raised after this cut-off will remain unanswered. George M.
