Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Squamish, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The District is seeking the services of a qualified contractor to install six (6) pickleball and three (3) tennis courts at the Centennial Way location adjacent to the Brennan Park Recreation Centre. The courts site has been cleared and filled to geotechnical specifications, ready for court installation. The successful proponent will be required to complete final grade of 19m engineered road base at no less that 20cm. All paving will be 75mil. Final grade will be compacted and a slope of 1% will be used where possible. Courts to be pressure rinsed and flooded for low spots. Low spots and other defects corrected with court patch binder and sand cement mixture. The Districts budget for the pickleball courts scope of work is $240,000. This budget amount includes PST but does not include GST, which is fully recoverable by the District. The Districts budget for the tennis courts scope of work is $300,000. This budget amount includes PST but does not include GST, which is fully recoverable by the District.
