Scope of Project: The Mosley Rd Street Rehabilitation project generally involves a base bid and 3 Alternate bid improvements as follows: Question Deadline 03/21/2024 at 5:00 PM CT Base Bid The Base Bid improvements limits are from Scranton St to Airport Blvd (STA 32+88.74) including the southern portion of Airport Blvd and includes the following improvements: Preparatory work for sampling and analysis on Potentially Petroleum Contaminated Areas (PPCA). Construction of high early strength 11-inch reinforced concrete pavement with lime stabilized subgrade and doweled concrete curbs. Construction of high early strength 7-inch and 9-inch reinforced concrete driveways. Limited construction of reinforced concrete sidewalks, and wheelchair ramps. Remove and replace storm sewer pipes with reinforced concrete storm pipes ranging in diameters from 12-in to 30-in, 18" x 29" arch pipes, 23" x 37" arch pipes, and 27" x 44" arch pipes. Removal and replacement of storm sewer manholes and inlets. Limited installation of 10-inch sanitary sewer, manholes and appurtenances. Installation of 8-inch water line, fire hydrants, and related appurtenances. Installation of proposed thermoplastics pavement markings and signage. Alternate 1 The alternate 1 improvements limits are from Airport Blvd (STA 32+88.74) to IH-45 southbound Feeder road, and includes the following improvements: Asphaltic concrete full depth reconstruction which includes asphaltic concrete, base and subgrade. Installation of monolithic curb and gutter, flush curb/gutter and doweled curbs. Construction of high early strength 7-inch reinforced concrete driveways. Limited construction of reinforced concrete sidewalks, and wheelchair ramps. Installation of proposed thermoplastic pavement markings and signage. Alternate 2 The alternate 2 improvements limits are from Airport Blvd (STA 32+88.74) to IH-45 southbound feeder road, and includes the following improvements: Preparatory work for sampling and analysis on Potentially Petroleum Contaminated Areas (PPCA). Installation of 8-inch water line, fire hydrants, and related appurtenances. Alternate 3 The alternate 3 improvements limits are from STA 1+00 to STA 17+05.92, and includes the following improvements: Preparatory work for sampling and analysis on Potentially Petroleum Contaminated Areas (PPCA). Cleaning/de-silting of existing reinforced concrete box (RCB) storm sewers. RCB storm sewer inside joint repairs. Estimate: $6M-$8M *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. If offer is accepted, Contractor shall achieve Date of Substantial Completion within 425 days after Date of Commencement of the Work which includes 305 Days for Base Bid, 60 days for Alternate 1, 60 days for Alternate 2 as it must be in conjunction with Alternate 1, 0 days for Alternate 3 as it must be in conjunction with base bid, subject to adjustments of Contract Time as provided in the Contract.
