Beale Street, 1st Floor East P.O. Box 7000 Kingman, Arizona 86402-7000 Work is to be performed during the weekday, Monday-Friday, between 7:30 AM until 4:00 PM. All work must be coordinated and scheduled with the Mohave County Facilities Division. Any work that occurs outside normal business hours will need prior approval of Butch Finkbeiner (928-715- 2655) or Mike Ross (928-715-5374) All work shall be completed within 60 calendar days of Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages shall be assessed at $245.00 per Calendar Day. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a Surety Bond, Cashiers or certified check or postal money order equal to ten percent (10%) of the Bidders total bid, made payable to the Mohave County Treasurer as a guarantee that, if the Work is awarded to the Contractor, the Contractor intends to enter into proper Contract and provide the proper Performance and Payment Bonds, and Certificates of Insurance and endorsements, and any other documents or information required of the Bidder which is deemed necessary by the Owner for the Owner to enter into proper Contract with the Bidder as Contractor, for the faithful performance of the Work. Within ten (10) days of Notice of Intent to Award and prior to commencing any construction activities, Contractor shall furnish Owner with an irrevocable security for the protection of all persons supplying labor and material to Contractor or any subcontractor for the performance of any work related to the Agreement. Payment security shall be in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount and be payable to Mohave County. Payment security shall be in the form of a payment bond, as required by Arizona law. All payment bonds shall be executed on State of Arizona approved forms, duly executed by Contractor as Principal and having as Surety thereon a Surety company approved by Owner and holding a Certificate of Authority issued by the Arizona Department of Insurance to transact surety business in the State of Arizona. A copy of the Certificate of Authority shall accompany the bonds. The Certificate shall have been issued or updated within two years prior to the execution of this Agreement. The conditions and provisions of the bonds regarding the suretys obligation shall follow the form required under A.R.S. 34-222; Subsection F. The cost of the bonds shall be included in the bid. Individual sureties are unacceptable. All Insurers and Sureties shall have at the time of submission of bonds a rating FSC VIII A- or better as currently listed in the most recent Best Key Guide, published by the A.M. Best Company.
