All bids must include bid security in the form of a certified check or bid bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, drawn in favor of City of Saint Peter. All bidders are required to provide for all materials and labor for the following Condenser Replacement: o Capture all refrigerant from old unit for recycling or dispose of in an environmentally friendly manner. o Disconnect, remove and properly dispose of and/or recycle: o Existing 40 Ton condensing unit (Currently York Model No. H2CA480A46A) o Dual stage evaporator coil in air handler o Any and all associated pipe, insulation and accessories. o Supply and install new condensing unit that meets or exceeds 2023 Department of Energy standards with capacity that meets or exceeds the current unit specifications. o Supply and install new insulated refrigerant lines to and from the coil to condensing unit. o Supply and install correctly sized dual stage coil in the air handler. o All pipe suspension devices can be reused if appropriate and include new suspension devices in the bid if additional support is required. o All connection pipe fittings and manufacturer required devices are to be included in the bid. o If pad extensions are required, they must be included in the bid. Currently 8' 6" x 11' 6". o Electrical work to disconnect and reconnect condenser high voltage and low voltage control wiring and provide BACnet connection for the controls contractor. (Paape) o Factory startup by qualified technician. Test condenser and all system functions. Provide training to City staff. o Furnish and install cottonwood screens on the new condenser. o Apply for City mechanical and electrical permits.
