Volusia County Water Resources and Utilities (WRU) is seeking a company to furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary to rehabilitate the interior surface areas of existing sewer manhole structures and lift station wet wells using a County approved lining system. The work shall include surface preparation/cleaning, leak stoppage, patching holes or voids, bypass pumping, application of lining, and testing. The completed system will provide a corrosion-resistant line to prevent deterioration from corrosive gases/acids within the wastewater stream. A. This specification covers all labor, materials, and equipment required for rehabilitating concrete and masonry wastewater structures (manholes, wet wells and other structures) by restoring walls to original surface levels (patching) and the use of a spray-application of high build epoxy coating or a multi-layered stress skin panel polymer liner to eliminate infiltration, provide corrosion protection, repair voids, and enhance structural integrity. B. For manholes (brick or precast) coating limits shall include all walls and benches. Procedures for surface preparation and application are included within. C. For wet wells and other structures, coating limits shall include all walls and underside of top slab (where applicable). Procedures for surface preparation and application are included within. D.
