This procurement is a total set-aside for small business under authority of FAR Part 52.219-6. This must be accomplished electronically at http://www.sam.gov/vendor.cfm. ***Basis for Award**** Hanger-111 Install four (4) 400HZ Frequency Converters, installation which will completely restore 400 Hz frequency converter power to Water Side of Hangar 111 at Patuxent River Naval Air Station. This is a construction project intended to provide four (4) new 90KVA 400Hz double output frequency converter units. A MANDATORY site visit is required for this solicitation to be eligible for award. The contractor shall visit the project site; collect required data about existing structures, surroundings, appurtenance and all items that will be affected by this project or related to this project; and verify existing conditions. The contractor shall be responsible for the verification of the actual site condition and the accuracy of this information to ensure adequacy of the design and successful construction.
