Concrete Aggregate and Chip Seal Aggregate. Scope of Work: Vendor to provide at a minimum 4 belly dump trucks with drivers and a wheel loader to load, deliver and place approximately 10,000 tons of crushed concrete from the Kayenta/Peabody (Arizona) mine to the local community and 10,000 tons of Chip Seal Aggregate to six project locations within the Navajo Nation CONCRETE AGGREGATE: Concrete material is crushed and stockpiled at the Kayenta/Peabody Mine. Material shall be loaded onto belly dump trucks located near the northern edge of the Black Mesa plateau in northeast Arizona, delivery shall be to local community routes within the mine area. No scale house is available, each load will be estimated at 20 tons each. Existing routes shall be bladed and shaped to 20’ to 24’width including 2% super elevation left and right and compacted, concrete aggregate shall be placed at 3” depth on the new typical section. All routes shall be open to two-way traffic overnight and when no work is in progress. Traffic Control shall be incidental to the work, contractor to provide a Traffic Control Plan for approval at least two weeks prior to the haul. CHIP SEAL AGGREGATE: Chip Seal aggregate shall be delivered to six project locations as follows: Sanostee N5012, Ganado N151, Blue Canyon N9073, Whitecone N9062, and Jeddito N9101.
